Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C)
Medicare Advantage plans are designed to provide you with all the benefits of Medicare Part A & Part B, and all additional non-covered benefits, including prescription coverage.
Medicare Supplement Insurance, also known as “Medigap” insurance, provides supplemental health insurance coverage for Medicare beneficiaries. Individuals in the “original” Medicare program may want to obtain Medicare Supplement (“Medigap”) insurance because Medicare often covers less than the total cost of the beneficiary’s health care. Medicare is divided into two coverage components, Part A and Part B. Both programs have gaps in coverage that may be covered by supplemental insurance.
Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D)
Medicare drug coverage is not just a government benefit. It’s mainly insurance, which — like all other kinds of insurance — protects you against high drug costs if and when you need it in the future. In these circumstances, consider enrolling in the Part D plan in your area that has the lowest premium, which would give you coverage at the least cost.
Disclaimer: We do not offer every plan in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-Medicare or your local state health insurance program to get information on all your options.
